Fuel Injector Test Procedure 700

Hi John,

Of 9 bricks only one of ours has Regina. So far the fuel system has been flawless, making me wonder why so many bash it next to the Bosch. Why do I know Bosch so well and Regina only in theory? We're always needing to tinker the Bosch.

I can say it is not as simple as you predict. The OBD, if I recall, will do a test mode just like the LH2.4 (Bosch) where it fires the injectors in sequence with a bunch of other outputs, like EGR valves, cold start valves and idle valves according to the application. But during this test there is no line pressure. So first, you'd have to bypass the fuel pump relay to have the pump running before a spray pattern would be seen when trying the OBD output exerciser. Just theory, mind you. No personal experience to relate, but I saw your post going unanswered.
