Flywheel Fasteners? 200

Rich,
I went throught the same thing when replacing the clutch in my 91 back in September and ended up getting the correct bolts from the dealer. The Volvo p/n for the flywheel bolts was 946379-5. Discounted price was around $2.50 each (need 8). Also, don't forget to check your socket screws that hold the pressure plate to the flywheel. Mine were strectched and necked down under the head, probably from being previously tightened with an impact wrench. Volvo p/n for those was 959220-5, discounted price was around $2 ea. (need 6). The bottom line is that replacing all the bolts cost less than $40. Lastly, it isn't a commonly mentioned item here, but don't forget to look at the pivot screw (in the bellhousing) for the release fork. Mine was worn so much it had a hole in the top of it. Volvo p/n for the 91 pivot pin is 6814409-6, cost was around $6. If your dealer won't give you the discounted price, I've had good luck with Jaffarian's Volvo in Mass (Volvo Partsworld). They'll take orders over the phone and ship the parts. Ask them up front for the discounted prices.
