Steering Box question 444-544

Yep thats just how they are. So make sure you adjust the play when the pitman arm is in the straight/right position, otherwise the gears will bind in that position.
It's just a way to make sure the steering has no (or the least) play when the car is moving straight forward and at higher speeds (which is when the steering is in the straight forward position (at least most of the time...))
