Custom center console in a PV? 444-544

I would think that with a piece of 1/8th (doorskin) luan or birch, hot glue, fiberglass tape, epoxy, and upholstery vinyl to dress it up you could put one those together on a rainy sunday and make it any shape you like. You could run it up to the dash for instrments and switches, but that will make access to the hood release sort of tricky, and you could insulate the cup holders to keep your coffee hot and your Pepsi cold. If you continue the slant of the sides above the horizontal surfaces, it will help to keep stuff from spilling out when you take a corner with brio -- one of the complaints I have about the one in my 142E. Go to it, man.
