Custom center console in a PV? 444-544

The only problem I see is that if you continue the console up to the dash, how will you open your hood? My hood release is dead center under the dash.

Building a console isn't hard at all, it just takes moderate carpentry skills and some time.

If you want to add a few small gauges without damaging the car, consider an "A" pillar gauge housing. They come in sizes for 1, 2, or 3 gauges, and you could easily mount them without damageing the chrome "A" pillar trim.
