BW35, no clutch in Reverse? 140-160 1975

I don't have the expertese to drop a tranny, nor do I relish laying on the floor as I try to unbolt it and keep it on the floor jack. Just because it engages reverse and kills the engine at the same time. It really does push the car backwards if it is in reverse and the starter is engaged.

I guess this is the end of my project :( And it ran so nicely, too :) especially with new manifold gaskets and new seats. I am sooo sad. If I had gobbs of money, I would have someone repair the tranny because I like the looks of this car. But I don't.
