Ranger wheels. 120-130

Jrobby

Yes, these are 2002 Ranger wheels, they have 12mm backspace instead of 25mm like the older Rangers. They fill the fenderwells just a bit more from side to side. Fit is nice, no spacers needed. Clearance is good everywhere. Should be just as good with 1" lower springs as well. As a rule, most stock dimension 15x6 rwd Ford wheels are a bolt on fit. I am convinced RWD 15x7s are likely to be just as good.

Truth is, I bought em because they were available and cheap (60 bucks for 4!). I was being held up from driving the car because I was unwilling to go with the stock tires after buying Koni shocks and IPD sway bars. I was willing to throw money at the issue to get rolling! I want either Panasports or Superlights in the end!

The 205/60s really enhance the handling over the 165s, simply because they have more footprint on the road and a lower aspect ratio in their favor. The shocks are set at the softer end of the setting so the ride is firm but not harsh at all. Very nice ride and still easy to turn the wheel even at a stop. I have Bilsteins on my wagon and I like the Konis even better.

Best part is, the car is super solid and there is nary a rattle anywhere. A solid 122 is really hard to beat!! Definitely, my "Sunday go to meetin" car!

Cheers!

Mike
