Howdy.

The turbo seems to perform well according to the boost gauge, but I have no comparison, and don't know how to measure the boost directly.

The main problem is the amount of oil I am finding in the hoses from the turbo, and that synthetic Mobil 1 stuff is too expensive to be topping up every other day.

I have gone through the maintenance items in the FAQ (cleaned turbo oil return line, PCV system, checked waste gate, checked the impeller for side play).

Is it worth getting the rebuild kit and doing it now, or should I wait until it shows more performance problems.
