Pontiac 400, TH 400 trans, feasibility in a 1988 740 GLE 700

Rear end will likely never see the full torque- the lack of traction will see to that. My 740 has a mild L98, probably not much more than 225 HP, and I've struggled with getting the power to the ground. 3.91, limited slip Dana 30, large rear tires (225/70r15 Comp T/A), battery in trunk, still will spin both rear tires at will, at any speed up to 80 mph or so.

Great fun to drive, though. Near neutral handling with a 350 with aluminum heads. I'm not too familiar wth the Pontiac 400, but it would be a fun project.
