con rod bearings reference on 8-bolt crank 140-160 1974

Hi all,

Bad surprise this afternoon while cleaning and inspecting the parts of my soon to be reassembled engine: a totally shot con rod bearing was revealed.

The engine is a K-jetted B20E, 8-bolt crank, probably from 74. The rod bearings have the number 463094 on them, but I couldn't find any reference to it on the web.

Can anyone give info on this part? I'd like to know what I'll be looking for in the next days: is this standart or oversized? Will this fit any B20, i.e. are the con rod (and main) journals the same size on the 8-bolt than on the 6-bolt cranks? I believe not but all the parts supplier list only one ref for all B20's, so will these fit my crank??

If they are different, can anyone provide the doameter of the journals of the 8-bolt and 6-bolts so I can check if my crank needs machining?

Any hint mostly welcome, I'm stuck in my rebuild!

Thanks in advance to you B20 gurus!!! Séb
