Engine block 700 1990

Same year. Seams what I originally thought was valve noise may in fact be piston skirt/ rist pin related. Not totally sure yet. Weird because once the car is warm and you're on the gas driving, it's all super quiet and smooth. When in Park, if you speed the idle up slightly you will hit a point where it's loudest. Perhaps I bet too much on the fact this car had only 142km on it. I'm gonna try the old 'pull the plug wires of one at a time' to see at what point the noise gets louder, which may tell me what cylinder is at fault, if in fact it is bottom end. It's really hard to tell where the rattle is coming from. Thnx Norm
