240 lost power! 200 1990

Out of the blue, my NA brick doesn't have any 'juice' (power) any more, not that it had much before. I noticed a change in the exhaust sound, seemed deeper, so I pulled of the catalytic convertor (thinking it was clogged) and went for a test drive. Although it was much louder, no noticable change in power. Going up a steep hill, which I used to be able to take in 2nd with a bit of pull left over, now it's a struggle to make it up in 1st gear at 3k rpms. I didn't notice any missing, feels like something just isn't right.

Any thoughts would be very helpful,

Thanks.

Matt
