R134 and HC refrigerants

Don't believe it. This site smacks of a complete lack of evidence for what this guy is saying - that R134a is responsible for car fires, and that the R12 ban was due to a patent running out. A few pics of car fires are not evidence, and there is nothing to back up his claim that R12 wasn't phased out due to concern over the ozone layer. We all recently saw a similar style presentation (long on allegations, short on evidence) that was used to justify an action that we'll be paying for (in more ways than one) for many years.
