ok, so my 940 GLE has been experiencing occasional trouble at idle and fairly consistant trouble on a warm restart. a little history: very late fall of '04 my on my way home my wagon began to really chug, stumble and wanted to stall, not while moving at speed but at very low rpm, like city street driving and stop lights. the car stalled, i was barely able to get it going again. it would turn over fine, but wanted to die immediately, unless i really put the gas to it. i got it home. the next day it started right up, a little on the chuggy side maybe, but not bad. however, when i stop, park and shut the car off, on restart it turns over and starts fine, then almost immediatley starts to idle very rough and wants to stall. if i put some gas to it and hold it around 1500 or 2200 rpms there is an eventual "clearing", as though after a split second the hesitation just stops, car revs, foot of the gas and it idle's just fine. i've been going through varying stages of the above scenario since. i've changed my plugs, wires, removed and cleaned my throttle body, had my injectors flushed at some place (although i think they never really yanked the rail and did it right, i think they just flushed some crap through), had a new air mass meter put in (my mechanic got a 1-2-1 code so he put a new one in, to no avail), new rpm sensor. any ideas? i love the car and really want to keep rollin'. thanks for any help.
