Finished 500 mile trip w/ daughter in her '89 240 200 1989

She drove the whole way. It was a good learning experience for her to drive on all interstate. She checked the oil, tranny fluid, and coolant levels before we left. The car has 175k miles on it. It ran beautifully. I'm kinda proud of both of 'em. Daugher drove great ...even at 75 mph between the 18 wheelers. She did good. Was her first "long" drive. Sort of checkin out her and the car before she leaves for college this Fall.

I've done all of the front suspension and all the brakes. Had the rear main oil seal done recently when we changed out the ailing auto-tranny. (Old one died because of a radiator coolant leak into ATF).

The 240 cruised up and down the hills...even with the A/C going. (we're from south).

I just finished washing and waxing my '93 245 too. (Since I didn't do any driving...still had energy when we got home).
Life is good.
