244 ti starging issues

I have a 1983 244 TI, and I have the worse time starting the car after it has sat for about two hours. I find that the car after sitting over night starts then dies and then starts dies and then will be fine. If I park it for about 30 minutes or so, it starts right up. The killer is when I let the car sit for about 2 hours and then it just turns over but it wont even start to die, unless I floor the gas pedel and then I have to get it moving really fast or it will die again. In any of these cases, the car runs great once I get it driving down the road. Could it possible be the cold start injector? Thanks for any information and happy bricking. This is driving me crazy.
