follow up on Noisy Throwout Bearing Lubracate? YES it worked!!! 200 1988

I got a lot of advice both yes and no on oiling the noisy throwout bearing. Bearing had only 30k on it and I did not want to go back in and swap it out. Sooo I tapped about 12 inches of stiff poly 1/4" clear hose on a pump squart oil can. Oil was half 30w and marvel oil mix. Pulled rubber clutch fork cover back. With small flashlight and makeshift oiler shout a few drops of oil on bearing. Fired up 244 and still had bearing noise:-( Oh well, I tried. Then wala, a day later noise stopped:-) Oil must of taken time to soak in. It has been noiseless for several days now. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks to all who said yes it could be done.
