oils seal & clutch bolts 700 1989

Changing my clutch this weekend and I messed up the oil seal and now it is driven in really deep in the recess, can I install a new one closer to the flywheel where the old one was and if not how can I get the old one out ?

As well the pressure plate was held in place by half stripped allen bolts, can I use regular head ones of the same strength or is there an advantage to these things thanks
