has anyone (from medical field)used nasal cannula /bubble tubing for Vacuum tubing? 700

I just got this idea the other day as I noticed alot of waste medical tubing getting thrown out. (I happen to work in the medical field in a hospital and see other uses for stuff all the time...ie-Male urinals make excellent bailers for your boats....emesis basins make excellent parts trays sorters....)

I noticed bubble tubing doesn't crush when pinched(go figure this stuff normally carries oxygen to patients to keep them alive) as well as nasal cannual tubing ...and wanted to know if this might work under the extreme harsh environments under the hood or would oil contaminate it and render it useless?

Has anyone ever thought of this?

a 3' foot piece of silicone tubing is what? $15.00 at Jegs.com

Currently I'm rigging up a squirter for the front headlights using some pieces of bubble tubing. the cool part about bubble tubing is it's clear and you can see whats in it if it's other than air.

just thought I'd run this by everyone.....
