Faulty ICU connection 200 1984

I recently replaced my ignition harness due to serious wire sheath deterioration. Everything went smoothly except the connection to the Igition Control Unit (ICU, the one attached to the windshield wiper fluid reserveoir). It doesn't seem to make a good connection. My Brick has been cutting out on me randomly and I have isolated the problem to this ICU connection. Is there some trick to getting a good connection that will resist any vibration dissconnect? Thanks a lot.
