Is this the Fuel Filter or Fuel Pump?

Is this the Fuel Filter or Fuel Pump? Yes!!
The main pump and filter on your car are packaged together on that bracket that is held in with three bolts. The most common leak that I see is from the end of the fuel pump itself where the check valve screws into the pump. The filter is the large silver cylinder with the strap going around it. The pump is the smaller cylinder, it too has a strap of types around it, with the two wires coming out of it. The pump should have a rubber line coming from the rear of the car going into the rear of the pump. The filter has hard plastic lines going from the rear of the filter to the front of the car and a short one going from the front of the filter to the front of the pump. The 10mm bolt is what tightens the retaining strap for the filter and how tightening that did anything for your leak is beyond me. I suggest you double check that and see if you don't have a leaking crush washer fitting at one of the three different locations that use them on that system or possibly a cracked hard plastic line.
