Failed Emissions 1980 B-21F -- Possible Causes ? 200

Hi there,

For the first time in 25 years, "ye olde bricke" failed its emissions test. Curious as I had just changed air filter, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and O2 Sensor. Here, for a car this old, we only test for HC, CO and CO2. The readings were as follows: Hydrocarbons 163 ppm; CO 2.08%; CO2 12.41%. Does this sound like a mixture adjustment probem, or perhaps a failed Lambda ECU, or perhaps a bad catalytic converter? Any advice on what to start checking and how would be appreciated.

Mike
