Help! SU Caburettor leaking. 120-130

Recently I have been smelling gas, and believed I had a slow leak at the fuel pump, and have ordered a replacement. However today I have found the culprit. After a short drive I popped the hood to see fuel dripping from the front carb onto the hot exhaust manifold. After running to get a fire extinquisher, and letting the engine cool a bit. I looked around and it appears the leak was coming out of the feed tube at the float chamber, and indeed it easily pulled out. I then consulted my Haynes manual and it appears that flang nut has come loose. Is it possible to repair this while the carb is still on the car? Is it possible to get just this part? My mechanical knowlege is limited but it looks pretty straight forward. Is it better to just pull the whole magazine off and have someone rebuild it? If so any advice on removal and or rebuild sets would be of help.

Thanks,
Patrick
