AC compressor keeps cycling on and off S90-V90

Hey everybody!

Got a little problem with the AC on my V90. When i turn it all the way down, the AC never gets really all that cold. I bought a can of R134 and a pressure guage. The guage showed me that the compressor keeps cyling on and off. With the car at idle (all windows open, and the thermostat set at its coldest setting), the compressor turns on at about 25 psi then climbs to 45 psi in about 5-ish seconds. Then it turns off, and the pressure slows drops back down to 25 over a period of about 10 to 12 seconds. Then it repeats the process. As a result the air coming out of the vents gets cool, but not cold.

I tried adding some R134, but it didn't seem to make a difference.

Should I try adding more? Or is it something else that's causing the problem.

Thanks,
Eric
