Vinyl protectant-What do you use? 900

i've been hearing quite a bit of negative press about Armor All lately,in that it can actually speed up damage.i like to keep the dash nice and the rubber seals clean and supple.i dont want to use(and i have for yrs) a product that could possibly create cracking.
any recommendations?i read in a previous post about using baby oil.if it's good enough for a babies behind,is it good enough for the dash?i'm searching for something that soaks into the vinyl/rubber instead of just covering it.
