An oddity?? 140-160

When it comes to such tranny and driveshaft parts, if they don't look 'factory installed', somebody had to have really messed up... them parts only go together one way.

Obviously, what you found was not stock for a '74. Pretty rare for any 145 to have ever been ordered with overdrive in my experiences. Someone cobbled together an earlier M40 with an earlier D overdrive and early driveshaft (or the car started with the small driveshaft).

Sounds like just what you need. Good find!
