Turn signal when turning right won't stop blinking 200

When I turn to the left it will automatically stop when I come back to center. When turned to the right and turn back to the center, the the blinker continues to blink. I took off the top of the column to look at the stalk assembly but . . . Can I put some electric grease, open up. Ideas?
