New oil at Walmart?

I used it in my 2.3 liter mitsubishi turbo diesel powered ford ranger...although i thought the stuff was a synth belnd...it has been a few years....the oil should work for your car though...diesel engines tend to be harder on oil...i think that is mostly because they are almost universally turbocharged these days. I am not a big proponent of synth oil unless one has a seriously high strung engine...aka something like a rx-7 or a mitsu evo...or if you are like most of my friends and family who change their oil once a decade. if you are a responsible brick slinger....i say the conventional is fine...after all these are not in any sense of the term...high performance engine...mine has lasted 338,000miles on the cheapest conventional oil around...I just change it every 5,000 miles and check the level at every fuel-up. good luck with the rotella though.
