MCC unit 900 1994

1994 945 NA, Regina ignition, Halifax assembly: This spring the AC circuit does not work at all and there is no amount of MCC unit resoldering that helps this time. It's predicted to be a hotter than normal summer, so...

1. Is there another AC relay somewhere?

2. Are there any known (but less common than bad solder) MCC unit faults one can fix without reverse engineering the unit?

3. Does the AC clutch engage with +12 VDC? How much current? I am considering hot-wiring it to confirm that the AC actually works before spending more time on the MCC unit.

4. Is the pressure switch simply in series with the clutch or does it provide an "enable" signal to the MCC? I would like to keep it in the system if I resort to hot-wiring the clutch from a separate switch.
