J Type ID Question 120-130

Howdy

Found a J type OD in a 75 240 with a B21, while browsing the local pick and pull. Didn't finda M41 tag on the tranny case, but it has the J Type OD for sure.

The drivers side of the case does not have the 3 cast in stiffeners that are typical of m40/m41 cases. It also has the lube fill hole on the drivers side on a dog bone shaped machine flat surface.

It also does not seem to have external bolts to attach the tranny to the bell housing. Are these attachment bolts internal to the bellhousing. I didn't have good light or access, so this is not a hard and fast observation.

Any guesses what this box is, An M410 maybe? Or am I just mis-identifying it?

Mike
