brake light switch 700

Daughters brake lights went out, its a 90 740 wagon. There is no power at the brake light switch. There is a black/white wire and a blue/red (I believe) wire. If I put power to the blue/red wire the brake lights work, So I ran power from the fuse box to the black/white wire, but that made the switch work in reverse

I do not have a wiring diagram for the car and I am not sure if I did I would know what I was looking at. I am assuming that the switch gets its power from the #4.

Any ideas, Thanks Ron
