What weight of oil should I use 200

Ihave a 1984 245 TI that I will be chainging the oil on for 1st time this weekend. What weight of oil would you recomend for this car. I know that some people like to use 20/50 weight in thier car. I guess some people like this because of the high miles that they have on their cars. I have 225,000 but the car runs great and the turbo is only 40,000 miles old. Should I go with the normal oil or should I go with the 20/50? Thanks for any information and happy bricking.
