Hi Bob,

The car works again !!!

It seems that ignition point gap is everything. Once I set it back to what it should be, thanks to your crank rotating suggestion, all was good. I will get a new points assembly due to the fact that I replaced the wire to the coil neg terminal with a speaker wire.

Thanks a lot for your help. Without this forum and the people here I definately would have sold this car by now.
