I have a 1965 122S and I have been doing research on the brakes, and when I look at my Volvo parts list, and various venders price lists, I see that a brake booster was installed on some Volvos. I always thought they were something installed just on the dual circuit models. But, I noticed that they were on a lot of single circuit models as well. My car does not have a booster, and I am glad of it. But I am curious, when did they first appear? On what models? Were they an option that mine didn't have?
