245 reverse switch?? 200

Try looking on the upper left rear corner of the transmission. A few seventies models had them located on the shift lever just below the boot, but on the tranny is more common.

Check the cable ties holding the reverse light wiring harness. I had trouble when a tie broke and allowed the wiring to fall down and get shredded by the tailshaft.
