Rear End Clunk 200 1975

Have have searched the forum and cannot seem to find anything that matches my problem.
During de-acceleration just before stoping I get a clunk from the rear end. I had the U-Joints replaced a few years ago buy a shop(I don't know if they did it correctly) so I was suspecting the differential. I changed the oil some months ago but didn't see any metal.
If I set still and get some clunking when shift between REV and DRV.
I just need a few ideas befor I go nuts and start replacing parts.
