SRS problems :(

The SRS light turns on once in a while during startup and the vehicle gets completely locked. I have to try starting the car 2-3 times before it goes off. Today I noticed something unusual. I was starting the car with my door open. The SRS light was on and when I closed the door, it went off immediately. I dont know if its a coincidence or not. May be there is a loose contact somewhere.

Please help as this is very annoying. I am scared I might just drain the battery in winter because of this.

Also, there is lots of noise coming from underneath when I start the car by changing the gears using the unlock mechanism.
