The standard seat for middle and late-60s Amazons did not have a lot of travel of the backrest angle, maybe 30-40 degrees. The 123GT seats would fold almost flat, like Recaro seats. Similarly there was not a lot of sliding forward/aft movement of the seat itself, a matter of maybe 6-8 inches (others please correct me if I'm wrong).

There have been threads before about installing headrests into the pre-drilled holes that you should be able to feel through the vinyl on the top of your seats.
