ipd front sway bar question 140-160

Hey guys.. I've never had an IPD sway bar before and the 68 145 that I just bought came with one (yippie) except that it was only mounted to the lower wishbones and not connected to the frame at all. It had the bushings for the frame connections on there and was hanging on the steering assembly.. I took the hardware (blanking on what I should call it right now) off a stock sway bar to connect it to the frame.. Does anyone know if they are the same? Or should I get proper IPD units?
