Centre Console S90-V90

I am just about to replace my centre console with a new one as my one is in a perilous state. How do I go about removing these things and also while I'm doing it can I repair the Tranmission Select part......mine doesn't actually have a working tell tale so you can see what you have selected....you have to go off where the lever is.....can I repair this telltale or will it be a case of getting a new selection mechanism cover. WHile I'm on the subject I am also replacing my walnut dashboard....does anyone have any ideas how the one in the middle comes off.....the one where my headlight switch is..I've already replaced...but the middle one looks like harder work and maybe having to remove CD player/climate control units while I'm there!
