mounting poly, front trailing arm bushings - v brace is in the way, what do I do? 200 1986

I know I've seen mention of this on the board - I started to hacksaw/chisel this feature off, but thought I'd take a break and see what advice others have. This v brace is on the inboard side of the outboard mouting bracket for the front of the trailing arm. It doesn't interfere with the OE rubber bushings but does get in the way of the poly bushing which has a lip outside the shell.
BTW, I used the burn/hacksaw/chisel technique to remove the original bushings which were beginning to crack and look worn. I will have all poly on the rear now (soon), except for the panhard rod.

Thanks for the help,
Tom
