ok, here's the problem...
My 940 (B200F) idles unevenly, not a crappy idle, but misfires every now and then. It also has no low end power, poor consumption, hesitates at low revs when pulling out from a junction, and high end power feels shaky. I tested the O2 sensor, and at idle comes back with a reading of about 0.6V with no fluctuation. My fuel pump is a little noisy at idle and just above. My exhaust fumes always seem to smell of fuel, when decelerating, the exhaust "pops" a few times. the spark plugs are black around the rim, but the electrode is clean-ish I've done everthing i can to it, and still its no good.
This is what i've done...
I bought a new FPR and fiited it, tested and changed the AMM, changed the IAC, tested my TPS, tested the two temp sensors, cleaned the throttle body, changed the cylinder head + gaskets. I found the white fuel pump relay had dry joints, so i resoldered those, and my pump stopped cutting out. I resoldered joints on the radio supression relay.
Other unorthadox stuff i've done is removing the catalyser, and replacing with a straight through pipe with a hole for the 02 sensor, blanking the engine breather inlet on the intake bellows, dismantled the Ignition ECU and the injection ECU to check for dry joints (i wouldn't know what to test).
Has anyone else had these problems?
I'm thinking it could be ignition problems (misfiring), or fuel pump problems.
Any help is much appreciated.
