What offer for parts car, 89 245 200 1989

Hi all,
The wagons just keep showing up. After purchasing Boardmember Shifted's 87 745ti, I saw and ad in the paper for an 89 245, needs work, $500 or best. I went to look at it, little rust but dents, nice interior (black vinyl) door pockets intact, started easily and ran good. 202K miles and m47. Needs muffler (it's LOUD), 1 tire, major leak in power steering, unsure of rack's condition. Gas leaking but not crazy bad. New reman alternator. Seats in good shape, not broken down as in my 89 244. Blower works great. Have not driven it yet but will tomorrow. I've been looking for some wagon springs and good seats for my 244 anyway. I would part this car out as it has dents and a rusty tailgate. I'm thinking of low balling him as he isn't a volvo guy and is selling because he inherited a pickup, I do not see anyone except a Volvo nut buying this loud, no power steering, banged-up beauty. What do you think I should offer? I have also wanted to convert my 244 to a manual trans and this would be a great donor... if it works.
Thanks,
Palmer
