Hi,

I need to change fluid in the automatic transmission.

According to Haynes I should change both the filter and the fluid.

FAQ 700/900 merely suggest fluid change (http://www.brickboard.com/FAQ/700-900/TransmissionAuto.htm#7XX940FluidFlush) and does not mention filter change.

Is the latter enough (it easier so if filter change is not required why bother)
