gas door hinge installation 700 1990

The car is 1990 745 whose gas door fell off because the plastic broke on the base portion of the hinge that attaches to the body of car. The spring and door are intact. I just bought a replacement from Volvo (only $8.20), and it looks like I need to carefully pry off the old hinge and snap in the new one, then attach the spring and door. Is there anything else I need to know? I found a post in a thread for 960s that read "pull the pins out of the mounting rivets". The part I bought doesn't have any removeable pins; it's all one piece. Is this a model difference and something I don't need to worry about?
