What type of freeeze plug is that? 140-160

The #3 appears to be above the surface of the block flange.

I've gone through excessive annoying nonsense with this one issue on the rebuild of my b20.

Blown 2 of them. I gave the shop credit for maybe making 1 mistake, then the second blew out last night and I will now remove the manifolds and replace the other 3.

I just noticed that parts suppliers spec a 45mm freeze plug. The ones used by the shop are 1.75", which is 44.45mm (@2.54cm/in). Is this the problem?

The shop owner asked me if I was running excess pressure. I was steamed. Then the parts store guy was nice enough to tell me to just keep pluggin along. Then he said "Sorry."

I'm not laughing right now.
