240 turbo conversion 200

Hello,

If doing so, I would recommend finding a used turbo engine (complete) and a decent wiring harness to go with the engine. Finding a donor car (as another had said) would be best. The turbo engine has so many modifications to accomodate the turbocharger that it may be a lot easier (and more reliable) to use a complete engine. They like to tell you it can be done (as I'm sure it can). But is it reliable? As you may know, the turbo cylinder head has stellite valve seats and sodium filled exhaust valves to accomodate the extra heat (not found on N/A engines). It also has a lower compression ratio the the B230F, as well as the oil return hole, etc. A different fuel pump, injectors, and gas cap are also used on the turbo model. If you had a donor, you would have the correct engine, ECU, wiring, oil cooler, overboost valves, intercooler (and plumbing), and whatever else you may need. Anyway, that's what I'd do.

I hope this helps...
