What type of freeeze plug is that? 140-160

Thanks for the info. I've just gone through a huge headache with freeze plugs. The engine shop installed 1.75" disc type plugs which blew out. It seems these are slightly smaller than the required 45mm (1.75" = 44.45mm), and that may have made all teh difference here.

I am now on the hunt locally for 45mm plugs, used in the BMW 318 and Volvo.

I see you installed them with cup side inwards. Have you done that before?
