Plugging vacuum line to pass emissions testing? Improving NOx readings? 200

Hi. There were several posts a while back about plugging a vacuum line in order to improve NOx readings during emissions testing. I have two questions:

1) does this technique also apply to the last 240's (1993 for example), or is only for the mid-'80's models?

2) since I have both an '84 and a '93 240, regardless of the answer to the first question, can you tell me which specific vacuum line should be plugged? Is it the one to the distributor, or is the one to the pressue sensor in the control unit, or some other vacuum hose?

Thanks, all, for your help.
