a couple 242 dl questions 200

hey all , i just have a couple of quick questions concerning my 77 242 dl.
...first off recently when i'm in first gear, as i let the clutch out...the car kind of studders and i get a weird knocking noise coming from the rear of the car. .......i don't know what it is...if someone could help me it would be cool....
...i'm also planning on replacing the rear/ front shock/struts and also putting on kilen sport springs that i got from fcp groton...i'm wondering which shocks and struts i should get..i heard the bilsteins are excellent...but do the really make a noticable difference?.....i'm also wondering if buying the swaybar kit from ipd really makes a difference.....any comments would be cool..thanks for the help. Dylan
